OnStar Mobile App Technology

There is a good news for mobile users and car users. Yesterday, GM motors released a new mobile application and in this mobile application, now user can control some car functions from their iPhone or Android phone.

Through this application, you can start, open and unlock your car. There is one more function; through this app you can heating up your car in the winter or cooling it down in the summer.

The app can also activate the vehicle’s alarm system and help you find your vehicle in a crowded parking lot. You can control your car function from any distance without any problem, but work only a few hundred feet away from the car.

Through this application, you can check your vehicle’s oil life, tire pressure and lifetime mpg.

The mobile app acts as an extension to OnStar’s Safe and Sound and Directions and Connections services, which means you will need to have one of those plans to use the app. The cost of this app is not too much, its suits your budgets. The cost of this app is $18.95 a month or $199 a year.
